I purchased a coupon for Penn Monroe Grill in Monroeville. I have purchased food coupons before and I look at the food offered and the location so I make sure it is a good fit for my taste in food and how far I am willing to drive for a meal. A few days before the coupon was to expire, I made arrangements for my daughter and granddaughter to eat lunch there. Having arrived before me, my daughter called to inform me that the sign on the door of the business stated "Smoking allowed and no one over 18 admitted" No where on the description I read for the coupon did it say anything about adults only and smoking allowed. They only advertised the variety of the food served there. Turns out it was a bar with booths for eat in food. The waitress was kind enough to let me use my coupon for takeout, but I would have NEVER purchased the coupon in the first place, had I known it was a bar. I am very disappointed that I was misled as to the type of establishment this was. That being said, the food wasn't bad, and I am grateful they let me use the value of the coupon for take out, so I WAS able to eat, but I had counted on a sit down lunch with my family. Very disappointing!
