I went to this restaurant and spent $200 expecting that I would receive the paid $49 Living Social voucher amount as stated on the voucher, since I had let expire the actual voucher for %u201Cthree course meal for two.%u201D They would not honor the paid amount which again, the voucher states would be the case. When I contacted Living Social, Tribeca agreed to honor it the next time I came in. Why would I want to give patronage to and spend even more at an establishment which did not honor what they committed to? I expected a refund to my credit card. They have refused. And Living Social has refused to refund the money to my account. This is the second time I have had a problem with Living Social. The last time they finally refunded my money after I stated I was closing my account which I have been waiting to do until I finished using my vouchers.

Living Social finally refunded my $49. Not sure what worked: posting to various online sites, including their corporate site or filing complaint with BBB. The restaurant also responded after same actions taken including a post to their Facebook page. They had not responded to any of my emails. Should not have taken all this.

Living Social finally refunded the $49. The restaurant also tried to do so. Before this action I submitted postings to this and various online sites, argued via email, and filed complaints with local and DC BBB. Something worked, but it should not have taken this.
