livingsocial is a scam! - Vouchers
This is the last time I will be using Living social! I have calculated the number of vouchers I have bought over the last year and have not been able to redeem due to the merchants being booked up and not able to provide service, it has totaled over £100. £100 of MY money that lines the pockets of the cowboys aka Living Social!! It seems that if the merchant does not fulfill their side of the bargain and the if the wait for service goes over the expiry date then living social just pocket the cash! their excuse "the voucher has expired," Its a total SCAM and I dont believe they should be able to do this. They should take responsibility for the actions of the merchants they are selling for and at least provide a full refund in the form of original payment when the merchants fail to provide the advertised service when attempted to book before the expiry date. SIMPLE! I believe its illegal what they are doing and my rights as a customer are being trampled on, I should not be out of pocket for items and services I did not receive, I will be taking the matter further until I receive every penny back for the services that was purchased, attempted to book yet not fulfilled by the merchant!
